Open the listing and press ConnectFind Mailsoftly in the Claude directory, or open the listing from this page. Remote connectors are available on paid Claude plans, on the web, desktop and mobile apps.
Sign in and choose permissionsClaude sends you to Mailsoftly's consent screen. Sign in, or create a free account right there. Reading and drafting are on by default. Sending campaigns is a separate checkbox you tick only if you want Claude to send.
Ask in plain languageAdd a contact, build a list, draft a newsletter, ask how the last campaign did. Each request maps to a documented tool, with the same rules the product enforces everywhere else.

What Claude can do

134 tools, grouped by what you ask for

Every tool is a narrow, documented action on your audience, your campaigns or your account. Nothing runs outside the permissions you granted.
👤 Contacts and audience

Find, add, tag and organize people

Search contacts by email or name, add or update them, apply tags, build lists and add people to them in bulk, create segments from conditions, define custom fields, check the suppression list, and build or read signup forms and their submissions.

📧 Campaigns and results

Draft, edit, send, then read the numbers

Write a campaign as a draft from a text brief, from a saved template, or from HTML you bring yourself. Edit the subject or body in place, check readiness, send only with the send permission, and ask how any sent campaign did: delivered, opens, clicks, bounces and unsubscribes.

🛡️ Account and guardrails

Know where the account stands

Read the plan, sending limits and usage, connected channels, landing pages and team. Add and verify a sending domain, create sender and reply-to addresses. Build any automation from a sentence, with conditions, A/B and multi-way splits, waits and webhooks, activate it once the account is verified, and enrol a contact in it. Run an A/B subject test on a campaign. When a send is held, Claude gets a plain explanation and the exact steps that unlock it, instead of an error code.

What it feels like

Six things you can just ask Claude

The interface is a sentence. These are the kinds of requests the tools were built around.
"Add everyone from today's webinar to the Leads list and tag them webinar"Claude creates or updates the contacts, puts them on the list in one call and applies the tag.
"How did my last newsletter do?"It finds the most recent sent campaign and reports delivered, opens, clicks, bounces and unsubscribes with the rates.
"Draft a newsletter for the Customers list about the new pricing, using the Promo template"It writes the copy, starts from your saved design and leaves the draft in Mailsoftly for you to review.
"Make the subject shorter and swap the second paragraph"It edits the same draft in place instead of creating a second one.
"Here is my own HTML email. Send it to the VIP list."Your HTML is stored and sent exactly as written. With the send permission on, it goes out; without it, the draft waits for you.
"Is [email protected] unsubscribed? If not, unsubscribe him everywhere."It checks the suppression list and adds a global unsubscribe when you confirm.
Prefer another assistant? The same server powers the Mailsoftly MCP server for any MCP client, and developers can go deeper with the REST API and webhooks.
Guardrails

Draft freely. Send on purpose.

Permissions are scoped and sending is a separate opt-in, so Claude can prepare everything and you press send yourself. Every send still passes the same checks as a campaign built in the editor, and when a send is held, Claude tells you why and what unlocks it.

If sending is locked, here is how it opens

A new account needs a sending channel of its own before campaigns go out. Claude will name the exact step, in this order: connect your Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 account (verified organizations are trusted automatically), connect a personal Gmail or Outlook mailbox, or authenticate your own sending domain. Every account's first campaigns also pass a short content review before delivery. Claude tells you when a campaign is queued for review, and no account change speeds that up: it goes out when it is approved.

Built on the same OAuth platform as everything else.

The connector is an OAuth 2.1 client of your own account: PKCE, short-lived access tokens, rotating refresh tokens, and a Connected apps page in your settings where you can cut Claude's access anytime. The same platform powers the REST API for developers and the MCP server for every other assistant.

FAQ

Mailsoftly for Claude, answered

What is the Mailsoftly connector for Claude?

It is Mailsoftly's listing in the Claude directory. Connecting it lets Claude work in your Mailsoftly account through 134 documented tools: contacts, lists, tags, segments, custom fields, forms, templates, signatures, sending domains and addresses, campaigns, results, automations, landing pages, SMS and account state, each with create, update and remove where the product allows it. It runs on Mailsoftly's hosted MCP server with OAuth sign-in, so there is nothing to install.

Do I need a Mailsoftly account first?

No. Press Connect in Claude and Mailsoftly's consent screen lets you sign in or create a free account on the spot, with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or an email address. Reading and drafting work immediately. Sending needs a sending channel of your own, and Claude will name the steps when you ask it to send.

Which Claude plans can use it?

Remote connectors from the directory are available on paid Claude plans, on the web, desktop and mobile apps. Anyone can use the Mailsoftly MCP server from other clients, and developers can use the local server with an API key.

Can Claude send emails without asking me?

Only if you grant the send permission. It is a separate checkbox on the consent screen and off by default. Without it Claude can search, add and update contacts, manage lists, write and edit drafts and read results, and you send from Mailsoftly yourself.

Why is sending locked on a new account, and how do I unlock it?

Campaigns go out from a channel you own, not from a shared address, because every sender shares the reputation of everyone sending through Mailsoftly. Connect your Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 account (verified organizations are trusted automatically), connect a personal Gmail or Outlook mailbox, or authenticate your own domain. Every account's first campaigns also pass a short content review; Claude tells you when a campaign is queued and you are emailed when it is approved.

Can Claude use my own HTML or my saved templates?

Yes. A draft can start from a text brief that Mailsoftly places in a responsive layout, from a saved template in your account, or from a complete HTML email you bring yourself, which is stored and sent exactly as written. Claude can then edit the subject or body in place.

Is the connector free?

Yes. It is included on every Mailsoftly plan, including the free plan that starts with your Google or Microsoft account and no credit card.

How do I disconnect Claude?

Open Settings, then Connected apps, and revoke the connection. Access stops immediately for the whole company. You can also remove the connector from Claude's side.
