This guide shows you where integrations live, how to connect the ready made ones, and how the API and webhooks open the door to everything else. Each step shows the exact screen you will use.
Open the integrations screen
Start on the Integrations screen, where everything you can connect sits in one searchable catalog under a Featured section. Each app shows as a tile, and a green check marks the ones you have already connected. Use the search box to jump straight to the tool you have in mind. This is your home base for wiring Mailsoftly into the rest of your stack.

Connect a native app or go through Zapier
The five native integrations connect in a couple of steps. Some open a secure authorize flow where you sign in and grant access, and others ask you to paste an account key to link up; either way, data starts flowing once you finish. For everything else, the Zapier tile bridges Mailsoftly to thousands of other tools without writing any code, so a change in one app can trigger an action in another. Three of the native connections have a step by step guide of their own: Sync your HubSpot contacts, Connect your Shopify store, and Send with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
Once connected, your apps work alongside your campaigns automatically.
Reach for a native integration or Zapier before the API. If a ready made connection already covers what you need, it saves you the work of building against the API yourself.
Build with the REST API and webhooks
For anything custom, the REST API and webhooks let you plug in your own systems. Create an API key under Settings and the Advanced group: press Create New API Key, give it a name, and copy the key right away, since for security it is only shown once. To push data out the moment something happens, add a Send Webhook action inside an automation and point it at a Webhook URL; it sends the contact information to any third party app in real time, with header and body parameters you control.
