Get started with Mailsoftly
A quick tour of Mailsoftly for new users. Get to know your dashboard, use global search, read your notifications, and open the launch kit.
Welcome to Mailsoftly. This short tour shows you where everything lives so you can find your way around with confidence.
In a few minutes you will get to know your dashboard, learn how to jump anywhere with search, catch up on notifications, and open the launch kit that helps you set up your account.
Get to know your dashboard
After you sign in, the Dashboard is your home base. It opens with "Welcome back" and a Performance overview band labelled "Account wide, all time" with a Live badge, so the numbers reflect your whole account.
Take a moment to read the six stat tiles across the top and the panels below them:
- Emails sent, Open rate, Click rate, New contacts, Unsubscribes, and Bounce rate. Each tile has a See details link that takes you to the full report.
- Audience growth: a chart of your list over time, with Total contacts, Active contacts, Unsubscribed, and Suppressed or bounced.
- Recent campaigns and Deliverability health, showing your latest sends and whether your domain, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are in place.
The dark bar on the left is your main menu: Dashboard, Campaigns, Automations, Audience, Forms, Pages, Templates, Deliverability, Media, Integrations, and Settings. The Create Email Campaign button sits at the top left, and the search box, notifications bell, language, and your profile are along the top.
Two touches make the dashboard yours: the Quick actions card pins the tools you open most, and the Customize button lets you reorder or hide any card on the page. Read Use quick actions and Customize your dashboard when you want to set them up.
On a brand new account the dashboard shows a setup view with a Create Your First Campaign prompt instead of the tiles above. The full stats appear once you have signed in a couple of times and sent something.

Jump anywhere with global search
Global search is the fastest way to move around Mailsoftly. Click the Search box at the top of any screen, or start typing, and results appear grouped by type so you can go straight to what you need.
You will see:
- Grouped results such as Contacts, Campaigns, Contact lists, Segments, Email templates, Landing pages, and Forms, each result showing a status pill like Sent, Scheduled, or Active.
- Quick actions for common jobs, including New campaign, Add contact, New contact list, New form, and New landing page.
Search saves you clicks once your account fills up, so reach for it whenever you need to find something quickly.

Check your notifications
The bell at the top right opens your notifications, and a small count shows how many are unread. The panel groups messages into Action required and What’s new, with a Mark all as read control and a link to view them all.
Open the full Notifications page to see every announcement and notice visible to your team. You can filter by All, What’s new, or Action required, and browse categories such as Product update, Promotion, and Event. Many items carry a link, so you can act on a deliverability tip or read about a new feature in one click.

Open your launch kit
Under Settings you will find the Launch Kit. It turns your brand kit into a ready to use set of branded emails, forms, and landing pages in one click, with no design work. The page describes a set of branded assets built from your logo, colours, and business details.
Build the kit, then open any asset to edit it before you send or publish. You do not have to keep everything, so pick the pieces that fit your first goal and set the rest aside.
The launch kit pieces are starting points, not finished work. Treat them as drafts to adapt with your own wording, images, and brand before you use them.
That is the tour. You now know the four places you will return to most, and you are ready to build your first campaign.
