Manage your saved templates

Reuse your saved email templates in Mailsoftly. Open the template gallery, start a campaign from a layout you trust, then refine and save it for next time.

A good template saves you from rebuilding the same email every time. This guide shows how to find the templates you have already saved, reuse one for a fresh campaign, and keep them tidy so each new send starts on brand.

By the end you will know where your templates live, how to build a new email from one in seconds, and how to refine a template so your future campaigns improve too.

Open your saved templates

Click Templates in the left menu to open Email Templates. Two tabs split the page: Template Gallery holds the ready-made layouts, and My Templates holds the ones you have saved. Your saved designs also appear in the My Templates section, with Popular templates below for inspiration.

Each card shows a preview, its name, and when it was last updated, plus pencil and trash icons to edit or remove it. You can search within your templates or use Filters to narrow the list, and Create New Template starts a fresh one from scratch.

With everything in front of you, picking a starting point takes seconds.

Reuse a template in a fresh campaign

When you start a new campaign and choose Design, the Pick a Template step lists your saved templates. Choose the one that fits the message and Mailsoftly loads its full layout, so your header, sections, and buttons are already in place and you only swap in the new content.

Reusing a proven layout is the fastest way to keep a consistent look across everything you send.

Tip

Save a template for each kind of email you send often, like a monthly update or a product announcement. Naming them clearly makes the right one easy to grab later.

Refine a template and save it

Open a template in the visual editor when you want to improve it. Adjust the layout, refresh the copy, or update an image, then open the editor menu and choose Save as Template. Name your Template in the box that appears and press Save as Template to keep the better version for next time.

Note

Saving over a template you opened for editing updates that same template. To keep the original as well, give the new version a different name before you save. If a save is refused, check that both the template name and the subject are filled in.

Keeping your templates current means less cleanup on every future send.
