Plan campaigns with the calendar
See every draft, scheduled and sent campaign on one calendar in Mailsoftly. Read your month, plan a campaign from a specific day, and reschedule without leaving the view.
A list of campaigns tells you what exists. A calendar tells you when it lands, and that is usually the question you actually have: am I sending twice in one week, and where is the gap.
This guide shows you how to switch your campaigns into calendar view, read the month, plan a new campaign from a specific day, and move a scheduled send to a better date.
Switch to the calendar view
Open Campaigns and look at the filter bar above the list. The segmented toggle there flips between List view and Calendar view, and choosing the calendar keeps you on the same page header, Campaigns with your Total count and the Create New Campaign button still in reach. You can also jump straight there from global search by typing Campaign Calendar.
Once the month is on screen, everything you need sits around it.
- Move with the Previous and Next chevrons beside the month title, and use Today to come back to the current month.
- The status pills, All, Draft, Scheduled, Sending and Sent, are both a legend and a filter, each with a live count. An In review pill appears only when you have campaigns waiting on approval.
- The Search campaigns box narrows the month to matching names, and the summary line reads how much is in view, for example "12 campaigns and 4,300 recipients".
- A busy day shows three chips and then a "+2 more" link, so nothing gets buried.
Drafts sit on the day they were created, scheduled campaigns on their send date, and sent campaigns on the day they went out.

Read your month in different views
The Month, Week and Agenda control changes how much detail you get. Month is the planning view, good for spacing sends apart. Week zooms into a single stretch when a launch has several moving parts. Agenda drops the grid and lists your campaigns in chronological order, and it adds an open rate badge to campaigns that have already sent, so you can read what worked without leaving the calendar.
If a month looks empty, that is a real answer too. Mailsoftly says "Nothing planned this month" with a Plan a campaign button, which is a nudge worth taking.
The calendar answers to the keyboard. Left and right arrows step through months, T jumps to today, the slash key focuses the search box, and Esc closes an open day.

Plan a campaign from a day
Click any day to open its peek, a small popover holding that day’s campaigns, or the line "No campaigns on this day" when it is free. On any day after today the peek has a footer button, Plan for this day. Today itself is left out, because scheduling starts tomorrow.
Choosing it opens the create campaign flow with a banner reading "Planning a campaign for" your chosen date, and that date then follows the draft all the way through.
- In the wizard, the schedule step arrives with the date already filled in and a small note, Send date from the calendar applied.
- In the campaign workspace, a strip stays pinned to the top with the date and a checklist, "To schedule, complete: Subject, From, To", naming whatever is still missing.
- When the last piece is in place the strip turns green, reads "Everything is ready." and offers a Schedule for that date button. Cancel drops the plan and leaves the draft alone.
If your account cannot send yet, for example without an active subscription, the strip tells you that instead of pretending the button will work.

Reschedule without leaving the calendar
Plans move. Scheduled chips end with a small clock icon, Change send date, and clicking it opens that campaign’s own Schedule Campaign modal right on the calendar, with the Schedule Date and Time field and the Time Zone selector. Save and the month reloads with the campaign on its new date.
For a quick shuffle, drag a chip to another day. A toast confirms "Rescheduled to" the new date and offers Undo if you grabbed the wrong one. Mailsoftly stops moves it cannot make with a plain message, either "Pick a day in the future" or "This campaign cannot be rescheduled".
Clicking the body of a chip instead opens a review modal with Status, Subject, Sender, Audience, Date and Performance alongside a preview of the email, and on a scheduled campaign the Date row carries the same Change send date link.
Scheduled campaigns show in their own time zone, not yours, and the review modal adds the zone label when the two differ. Only future, scheduled campaigns can be moved, so a gradual send already in flight stays where it is.
Keep the calendar open while you plan a month of sending and the rhythm of your emails becomes something you can see rather than something you hope you got right.
