See who opened your email
See who opened your email, and when, without asking for a read receipt, including emails sent from your own Outlook or Gmail. Find who has not opened yet and check one person in seconds. Includes a video.
Read receipts depend on the reader: Outlook asks them to send one and they can simply say no, and Gmail only offers read receipts on work and school accounts. Mailsoftly records opens for every email in a campaign, including campaigns sent from your own Outlook or Gmail mailbox, with the time each person first opened it.
The video follows a studio checking who opened the invoices it sent. The steps below are the same job in writing.
Read the verdict
Open the sent campaign. Once results have settled, a card on the Campaign Details tab says how it did, for example the share of people who opened it compared with your usual rate. Click View stats to see the detail.

See when each person opened
On the Campaign Stats tab, Performance insights explains the results in plain sentences. Below it, Detailed Statistics lists every person the campaign reached: the Open column shows when each of them first opened your email, down to the minute.

Filter to Opened or Not opened
Click Opened to list everyone who opened the email, or Not opened to see who has not yet: the people worth a friendly follow up. To check one person, search by name or company.
Opens are counted with a tiny image in the email. Some apps block images and some privacy features load them automatically, so treat an open as a strong signal, not proof.

Frequently asked questions
How can I tell if someone read my email?
Read receipts only work when the reader agrees to send one, and Gmail offers them only on work and school accounts. Open tracking records when each person first opened the email, and Mailsoftly shows it per person on the campaign’s stats, including emails sent from your own Gmail or Outlook.
Can I see who has not opened my email?
Yes. On the Campaign Stats tab, click Not opened to list everyone who has not opened the email yet, the people worth a follow up.
Is open tracking always accurate?
Treat it as a strong signal, not proof. Opens are counted when a tiny image in the email loads, so some apps that block images undercount, and some privacy features load images automatically and overcount.
