Track your campaign results

See how a Mailsoftly campaign performed. Start at the dashboard, open a sent campaign, read the opens and clicks, and check link performance.

Once a campaign goes out, the numbers tell you what worked. This guide shows you where to find your results and how to read them.

You will start at the dashboard, open a sent campaign, follow a send while it is still going out, read its opens and clicks, and see exactly which links earned attention.

Start at your dashboard

Your Dashboard gives you the quick view. The Performance overview tiles, Open rate, Click rate, Emails sent, New contacts, Unsubscribes, and Bounce rate, show how your recent sending is doing at a glance, and each tile has a See details link for the full report.

Below the tiles, the Recent campaigns panel lists your latest sends with their open and click rates, which is a good place to spot a campaign worth a closer look. Click one to open it.

These open and click numbers carry a Live badge and update within about two minutes of the activity itself, so a campaign you sent this morning already reflects what has happened since. Bounce figures settle a little later, usually within about fifteen minutes.

Open your sent campaign

The campaign detail view shows the email as it went out alongside its settings, and two tabs sit above it: Campaign Details and Campaign Stats. From here you can also Preview the email, Open in browser, or Duplicate Campaign to reuse it.

Click Campaign Stats to move from the setup view into the results.

Watch a send in flight

A large campaign does not land all at once, and you do not have to guess how far along it is. While at least one campaign is still going out, a Sending pill appears in the tab row on the campaigns screen, between All Campaigns and Sent. It shows up only while something is genuinely in flight, whether that is a queued campaign, a gradual send, a campaign waiting on your daily limit, or a running A/B test, and it disappears once everything has finished.

Each in-flight row carries a footer reading "Sending: X of Y emails out" with a small progress bar, so you can read the state of a delivery without opening anything.

Open the campaign itself and the stats page shows a Live badge and a band reading "Sending in progress: X of Y emails out" with the same progress bar. The Recipients KPI shows the planned audience for this send while it runs, rather than sitting at zero until the last email leaves, and every number refreshes every 30 seconds while you keep the page open.

Read the opens and clicks

The Campaign Stats tab scores the send with a row of KPI tiles: Recipients, Open Rate, Click Rate, Bounce Rate, Unsubscribe Rate, and Complaint Rate. Each rate is shown as a clear percentage with the underlying count beneath it, so you know at a glance how the send landed.

Below the tiles, Detailed Statistics lists activity per recipient. You can search by email or company and filter to Clicked, Opened, or Not opened, with columns for when each person was Sent the email, when they Opened it, and when they Clicked. If the email had no trackable links, the Click Rate tile notes there were no links to measure.

Compare these against your earlier sends to see whether a change moved the numbers.

Note

Clicks are usually a truer signal of interest than opens. Some inbox providers preload images, which can inflate open counts, so lean on clicks when you judge a campaign.

On a campaign that has finished sending, a third tab sits next to these two, labelled Reports. It trades the per recipient list for a different view of the same send: how each mailbox provider treated it, which recipient domains you reached, how engagement built up hour by hour, and every rate measured against your own account average. It is also where the printable version lives. Read and share a campaign report walks through it and shows you how to hand the numbers to someone with no Mailsoftly login.

Check which links got clicked

For the detail behind those clicks, open Link Performance. A summary shows how many Links the email had, the total clicks, and the number of unique clickers, and each link appears with its share of clicks. Use the All clicks and Unique people toggle, and the Sort control, to reorder the list.

Expand any link to see the contacts who clicked it, so you can tell what your readers cared about most.

With opens, clicks, and link detail in hand, you know what to repeat and what to change in your next campaign.
