How it works

Connect once with an API key

You create a key in Mailsoftly, paste it into Bouncer, and your contact lists are ready to verify. The key only carries the permissions the integration needs, and you can revoke it at any time.
Create a limited API keyIn Mailsoftly, open Settings, then Advanced, then API. Click Create New API Key, choose Limited access and tick the contacts and suppression permissions.
Paste it into BouncerIn Bouncer, open Integrations, choose Mailsoftly and paste the key to connect the two accounts.
Verify and send results backImport a Mailsoftly list into Bouncer, run the check, and choose what happens to each result in Mailsoftly.

The Bouncer integration, answered

Does Mailsoftly integrate with Bouncer?

Yes. Bouncer connects to your Mailsoftly account with an API key you create under Settings, Advanced, API. Once connected, you can import a Mailsoftly contact list into Bouncer, verify it, and send the results back to Mailsoftly.

Which permissions does the API key need?

Three: read your contacts, lists and tags; create and update contacts, lists and tags; and add addresses to your suppression list. Choose Limited access when you create the key and tick only those. No campaign or sending permission is needed.

Does Bouncer send emails to my contacts?

No. Bouncer checks each address without sending it a message, so your contacts never see the verification.

What happens to undeliverable addresses?

You decide. You can tag them so they are easy to leave out of a campaign, remove them from the list, or add them to your Mailsoftly suppression list so a later import or form sync can't bring them back into your sends.

Is the Bouncer integration free?

Creating an API key and connecting Bouncer works on the free Mailsoftly plan, which starts with your Google or Microsoft account and no credit card. Bouncer charges for verification under its own plans.

How do I disconnect Bouncer?

Delete the API key in Mailsoftly under Settings, Advanced, API. Bouncer loses access to your account as soon as the key is gone.
